Our intro series is open to students new to Yoga, or the Iyengar method. We encourage all new students to complete our six-week Introduction to Yoga Series. These classes cover the basics of alignment, action, and philosophy according to the Iyengar tradition.  This series will provide you with a meaningful approach to improve your practice and progress your poses in a safe and helpful way. Sign up online now. You can repeat this Series for a strong foundation in the standing poses for a discount price. Mr. Iyengar considered the standing poses to be the basis of our beginning practice. From an understanding of these basic poses and their actions, you prepare your body, mind and nervous system for more advanced poses. 

This series of one and a half hour classes is designed to prepare you for our ongoing, Level 1 or 1&2 classes. All series are pre-paid with no refunds. The dates for the Intro Series are subject to change due to enrollment. Iyengar Yoga Charlotte reserves the right to cancel a series if less than five people are registered. If you have prepaid and are not able to attend you may use your fee towards the next available Intro Series or toward Level 1 or 1&2 on-going classes. In the event we must cancel a series refunds will be issued.
